This science highlight was submitted by Chris Mauche of LLNL.
Based on paper: "EUVE Observations of OY Carinae in Superoutburst", C.W. Mauche
and J.C. Raymond, ApJ, accepted April 27, 2000.
DS count rate and optical light curves for the interval HJD - 2450000=535.84-535.93 (27 March 1997). DS measurements are shown by the filled circles with error bars, relative optical measurements are shown by the diamonds connected by straight lines. Binary phase is relative to the ephemeris of Pratt et al. (1999a). They grey strips denote the phase intervals when the white dwarf is eclipsed by the secondary (-0.02 = f = +0.02).
Note the puzzling result that the EUV flux is not eclipsed by the secondary star.
